Zip Fit liners have built a strong reputation among skiers who demand the performance that comes from a firm grip on their foot from cork that is custom molded to each individual’s 3D foot shape. With cork, there is no slop and being held firmly in place not only transfers more power, it reduces the sort of movement that causes pressure points and blisters. In the world of Telemark, or touring, you need the ability for the lower leg and forefoot to bend. Enter ZipFit’s new GFT liner.
The GFT liner is great for Telemark, or touring thanks to a zone of soft foam mid-way up the Achilles, so your lower leg can flex back while walking or skinning. These liners have a neoprene toe box insulated with Thinsulate™ and merino wool, helping your feet thermoregulate during frigid pre-dawn starts or high output spring missions under a blue sky sun. The interior is stitched with comfortable neoprene that effectively controls sweat and is easy to slide on or slip off. However, ZipFit’s trademark custom molded cork remains around the ankle to lock your foot in the heel pocket.
The GFT touring liners are pre-packed with less OMFit, self-molding cork composite specifically designed to be compatible with performance touring boots, hybrid AT boots, and Telemark ski boots. Although the GFT comes pre-packed with less cork, you can always add more cork to the tongue or ankle pockets to dial in a perfect fit.
