Winter Arrives in Vermont

Vermont resorts welcome much needed cold temperatures and natural snowfall this weekend. Some Vermont resorts received 3-5” of fresh snow overnight and snow squalls are forecasted around the state and throughout the weekend.

The state’s snowmaking systems can access 80% of the ski and snowboard terrain in Vermont. With temperatures expected to remain below freezing through the weekend, resorts statewide will have their snowmaking systems making as much snow as possible, refreshing already open trails and expanding terrain as much as possible.
