Top Four Telemark Facebook Groups You Should Join

With the snow gone in most places in the northern hemisphere, it might be time to start planning how to go south for the winter. Telemark skiers tend to be their own type of snow-slidin’ people and although the scene isn’t as big as up north, you’ll definitely find them in the south.

Are you still on Facebook? If so — here are the top 4 groups and/or pages to join to get in the mix with the tele scene from Chile to Australia.

  • Argentina Telemark Ski . Org  : Gear trade, notices for gatherings, news from South American telemarkers. This is a great resource if you are looking to meet telemarkers in the area. The group primarily speaks Spanish but other languages are welcome. Start digging in to what’s there!

  • Telemarks Australia : This group has about 100 members. It covers events happening in and around Australia along with other posts pertaining to telemark around the world.

  • Telemark Andes : This group boasts over 200 members and covers some great telemark content in and around Chile. You’ll find plenty of gear talk, images of people skiing the area, along with lots of tele stoke being shared.

  • Telemark New Zealand : If you are looking to tune into telemark events in New Zealand, this is the place. This page has created several events, such as the Broken River Telemark Week, to keep you informed of where and how to drop a knee with your friends in NZ.
