Binding manufacturer 22 Designs announced they will continue their relationship with the U.S. Telemark Team today. “We’re super excited to be sponsoring the U.S. Telemark Team again this year. “The team really liked the performance of the Outlaw NTN last year, and most of the team is now adopting our U.S.-made Outlaws for their race setups,” said 22 Designs owner Chris Valiante.
The Outlaw NTN binding hit the market in beta form during the 2014-15 season and went into full production for the public in Fall of 2015. It is the first American made NTN binding and the first step-in NTN binding. The step-in mechanism utilizes a cam-style device that locks the boot in when one steps down.
“The U.S. Telemark team is very excited to be working with the U.S. company 22 Designs for our binding needs and look forward to a successful partnership together,” said U.S. Telemark Team Assistant Coach Keith Rodney. “The team members skiing on the new Outlaw this year are excited about them due to the fact the binding keeps the boot active even while it is sitting flat on the ski, where other bindings do not.”
The U.S. Telemark Team started their race season November 25th in Hintertux, Austria for the first World Cup event of the season. For a full schedule of events, please visit www.ustsa.org.
