NATIVE Bolder Glasses

Company DNA Native Eyewear was launched in 1996 by outdoor enthusiasts George Schott and Jason Wildman in hopes of raising the bar for technology, quality and comfort in the sun and sport performance category. From their Headquarters in Denver, CO they continue to reach out to outdoor enthusiasts from telemark skiers to urban mountain bikers, as they seek to create innovative lines of eyewear.

NATIVE Eyewear Bolder Glasses

Where We Tested It:

  • Backcountry skinning
  • Apres ski activities
  • Beach
  • Around town

Pros:

The Bolder glasses are the perfect combination of look and feel. One tester said,"It's nice to have stylish glasses around town that still perform on the hill when I'm biking or skiing." Testers specifically enjoyed the snug and athletic fit that proved the glasses worthy of not falling to the ground during both skinning and skiing.

Cons:

A few testers noted that the brow piece felt too "low," and might be more comfortable and protective from the light if it were a little higher.

Our Take:

The Bolder glasses overall have a great construction, fit well, and function as promised. These are perfect for the backcountry telemark skier that likes to have a functional pair of shades for the ascent, descent, and the ride home.
